The Sinking of Dull: a ttrpg adventure for Knave 2e

The Sinking of Dull is an OSR-style adventure designed for Knave second edition and other OSR game systems. It includes an adventure hex with interesting locations and creatures, a three-level dungeon, and mechanics for developing mutations with in-game effects! 

Someone or something is befouling the waters of Dull. The water is seemingly contaminated with a mysterious magic that causes any who drink it to develop terrifying mutations.

Some townspeople place blame on the reclusive necromancers living in the woods. Others blame the hated Roachfolk who live in the hills. Yet few whisper of the forgotten fortress upstream, said to have been the ancient laboratory of a long dead warlock known for his mysterious and brutal experiments. Its towers now stand forgotten in the mire south of town. Those lucky enough to return from its depths share tales of long-lost treasures... and unspeakable horrors.

Whatever the cause of the mutations, many residents of Dull are calling for action. Retribution for unwanted mutations. The town guard are rounding up mutants and banishing them to the wilds. Many infected townspeople have gone into hiding, while others are embracing their newfound gifts.
